A TMNT Poll

Just because I've sensed so much anamosity from the ninja turtle fan community towards poor cody, I have to ask this question:[Poll #990925]I mean, jeez, give the poor little fanboy a break. I do wonder about WHAT they were thinking when they created him tho. They already knew a lot of fans hated Carter, and they made him simular to him... weirdos. Maybe they were TRYING to create a char for people not to like... Sad thing is, I like him! He's not that bad. And there could be a LOT more annoying sidekicks. :p

After watching FF I can almost feel a sort of nostalgic fondness for Cartetr.

The problem with Cody is that I have read enough Mary Sue/Gary Stu fics to recognize what the little poser is. Carter, while sort of an odd addition to the cartoon whose purpose I never really understood, just didn't grate as much. Cody sets my teeth on edge.

I'm having a hard time thinking of a more annoying sidekick wannabe Gary Stu character. Really.

Still wishing Leo would accidently run him through.

I don't think I ever posted it in my LJ..

I'll shoot both of you guys an email later (or maybe I'll throw it on LJ), but the short story is that, as it stands right now, Fast Forward IS canceled. But only FF, not TMNT. Nothing is officialofficial yet... but it sounds pretty certain.

I don't like Cody, either, and I have no idea who Carter is.
However; I voted for Carter as the worst sidekick because I like Cody's tech knowledge, and the fact he has access to so much to help the turtles - therefore he makes an awesome sidekick for that reason alone.
What I absolutely HATE is how in every episode I've seen (all of maybe 4 so far) the little tosser keeps getting abducted or put in harm's way and the TMNT have been reduced to chasing him down instead of out there fighting the actual crime I'm sure would be happening.

I find myself agreeing that Leo should "accidentally" run him through. I'll buy that last set of episodes if it, or something similar, does happen in the last episode. *Grumbles* Hell; I'll probably buy the DVD anyway...

aww, I'm STILL the only member of the cody jones fan club. Dont remember who Carter is? He's the black human guy from the red-sky eps of the old-school cartoon. mutated into a big yellow guy? Nyar? Remember now?
