Hmmm... tablet or touchscreen?

Well, for those of you who don't know, I got a Wacom tablet (this one in fact) around a week ago. I have played with it a little bit, and I am HIGHLY disappointed. The thing that really bothers me the most is this: in order to move the mouse around the screen, you need to hover the pen above the tablet surface! As you may or may not know, I have tremors in my hands, and holding the pen like that annoys the nyar outta me! I have searched a little bit, but I have not found a way to change this. *sigh* The other minor thing is, my eye-hand coordination is just not what it used to be. :p
In doing a little more research, I have found that the item I *REALLY* want is this:
A Touchscreen laptop *drools* I played with one of these a few years ago at an anime convention, and that's truly what I thought the wacom tablet would feel like/work like. The problem is, it's $979, and although it WILL go down in price, I will have to wait for a while (like prolly a whole year) until I can pay for it.
The question is, what should I do? Should I return the wacom tablet and save up for the touchscreen laptop? Or should I just keep the tablet and hope I will like it? I just worry if I keep the tablet, it will become a $70 dust catcher, because I will prefer drawing the old fashioned way because of the issues I have with it... hmmm
What do ya'll think I should do??
