The cheapest I've found is Peach Parking Corp on 40th St (other side of the block from the hotel). It's $23.65/night, so $94.60 for four nights. That doesn't include tax; parking tax is 18.25%, so $111.86 after. They don't guarantee space will be available, tho. The next cheapest is one of the Icon Parking Systems garages - the one on 30 Street, between 8th and 9th Aves. It's a nine-block walk (metro only cuts a couple blocks off), but they guarantee space and the rate. It's $102 for 2 PM Thurs through 11:00 AM Sun, not including tax - so $120.61 total. I have to say, if they tax everything at 18 percent, no wonder prices are so high. That's nearly triple sales-and-services tax in my county, and over twice the highest in my state.
It would probably be worth calling for rates on the parking lots (several of the reviews have said $15-$20, and the lowest I've found on garages is mid-$20s), but I'd like to wait until closer to time - I don't want to go somewhere thinking it's cheap and have them have upped rates between now and Oct.

The Metro may be cheaper than a taxi. There's both a Metro and a bus stop near our hotel.
I need to check with Jordan and find out when she needs to be home. If she needs to be back Sun, I'll probably just call my brother and see if Robina and I can crash there on the way home. If not, I'll check with my boss and see if I can get Monday off too.
ETA: Park and Ride in New Jersey looks pretty cheap, but I'm having trouble finding out if they're overnight spots or not.

Citidex has a list of parking lots in NYC ( http://www.citidex.com/696.htm ), and the NYC government made a map of parking places ( http://www.nyc.gov/html/dcp/html/parking/getmap.shtml?zoomifyImagePath=..%2F..%2Fgif%2Fparking%2Fsite&zoomifyX=0.0336570851610079&zoomifyY=0.0254589355451197&zoomifyZoom=80 ).
